U R Stuck with McAfee and Norton Anti-Virus

Ever try un-installing either McAfee or Norton Antivirus?

Well, they can pretty much only be removed by a techie.

Which is a pain if it is already installed on your new pc's.

This is one of the reasons, after extensive research, I concluded that Zone Alarm Internet Security Suite is the best option for home users and small offices.

I am in no way affiliated with any of these three companies!

One of the few drawbacks ZoneAlarm has is that it does not provide a centralized administration option like the other two. Which means, you can not update and check the status of multiple installations of Zone Alarm from a single pc, YET!

This drawback is greatly outweighed by its pros, which are too numerous for me to list at the moment. A few are: it uses Kaspersky Anti-Virus, its less straining on pc resources, easy to install for average people and it can be removed or un-installed from your pc if you decide to go with another vendor.

Update: here is what McAfee says you should try to do to remove their product

Like Jake... I have used AVG for years. Norton and McAfee are instantly removed from any PC I use. Just make sure you don't go without some type of protection.

I have found both norton and mcafee to be absolutely rubbish. Free versions of AVG are better! For those who wish to purchase security software i recommend NOD32.
